About Me
I started sailing as a kid on Lake Michigan out of Milwaukee. I raced on a San Jaun 26 for several years and sailed a 15' Capri on inland lakes in Wisconsin. We relocated to Bullhead City in April of 2011 and now its time to find a Mac 26x to buy for sailing/ motoring around here. If anyone knows of one let me know. |

About Me
Started sailing in 2006. Have been part or full owner of seven boats before deciding the Mac 26x was the right long-term boat for me. I have sailed in and around San Diego harbor and the Channel Islands, where I took classes. I also took a class that sailed from San Diego to Ensenada and back. My longest sail was about 4 weeks, including several nights in various harbors along the way, from San Francisco to Cabo San Lucas on Western Grace. (I wish I could take that much time again!) Since buying my Mac 26x in June 2011, I've kept it on Utah Lake. It's a large, shalllow, fresh water lake that feeds into the Great Salt Lake, about 40 miles to the north. The 26x's centerboard and swing-up rudders ease my mind in the shallow waters of Utah Lake. |

About Me
As you can see in my photo (circa 1990?), Half Moon Bay, Dhahran, I am not sailing. This was Jim Davis' Turbo boat. I did spend five years in the Marshall Islands on the Kwajalein Missile Range ) now the Ronald Reagan Missile Range), where we did a lot of sailing around the atoll. That is a great memory. Of course I did sail with Jim Maher when we worked in ARAMCO. I have lived and worked in 17 countries. Retired now and enjoying two grand daughters, who live right next door. GOOD SAILING! |

About Me
I developed my love of sailing as a teenager with a friend. Purchased my MacGregor 26X new in 1999 and have never looked back. I sail out of Marina Del Rey and Ventura, CA, and I really enjoy trailering to Lake Mead for one to two week sails. |
