    The Goal is the

   NOT the Destination

Hey you "Rag Sailors", this is the bulletin board to express yourself to the rest of the LVBMA fleet of sailors.  Let hear from you with your comments.  To start with, what about a LVBMA Founders' Day Cup Race around both Battleship Rock and then around Beacon Island?  Assuming of course we have the wind for such a long race.  Does everyone have a cruising spinnaker or any kind of spinnaker to have a proper downwind leg between Battleship Rock and Beacon Island (assuming a SW wind for the race)?

Let hear it from the cockpit

My current thinking is that the winds will subside and allow everyone to make this MM15 one fine sailing good time.  I've got my choc. chip cookies in the freezer and just putting some finishing touches on the rudder.  Don't have time to install my new-to-me autopilot

Ahoy Capt. Wayne,

Have signed on to crew for Capt. Newell on "WindDancer" (83 Mac26D).  We hope to win the Main  Sail prize Kelly Hanson has offered for the MacGregor Race.  Hope to see you there.  Will probably wearing my NFL Chicago Bears jersey with "Capt Kimo 01" on the back.

Hi Capt. Jimbo,  Hope to attend your Mead Madness event this next year.  Sorry we didn't make it to the past one.  Hope to meet you you at your event or at the pocket cruisers convention at Havasu if you come there.
