Guestbook

Hey you "Rag Sailors", this is the bulletin board to express yourself to the rest of the LVBMA fleet of sailors.  Let hear from you with your comments.  To start with, what about a LVBMA Founders' Day Cup Race around both Battleship Rock and then around Beacon Island?  Assuming of course we have the wind for such a long race.  Does everyone have a cruising spinnaker or any kind of spinnaker to have a proper downwind leg between Battleship Rock and Beacon Island (assuming a SW wind for the race)?

Let hear it from the cockpit

My current thinking is that the winds will subside and allow everyone to make this MM15 one fine sailing good time.  I've got my choc. chip cookies in the freezer and just putting some finishing touches on the rudder.  Don't have time to install my new-to-me autopilot

:P

Jimbo,

Don't have a spinnaker. May think about a way to set my genny and drifter together though.

Thanks Pat, looking forward to seeing you.  With a longer race hoping some of us "heavies" will have more opportunities to overtake the "lighter boats" when and if they make a mistake .  The course will be decided on race day.  As I mentioned, Lake Mead up 10 feet from October, so should be easier to get through the narrow cut between Battleship Rock and the shore line on the Port passage around Battleship Rock.
